Final project for computer illustration. It was an open hybrid project; do anything you want so long as you include digital and traditional both in the work. I used some of my old landscape paintings as the background for an illustration of the Boxer.

The crew of this Boxer is out taking a break to get some water from a nearby stream, while the commander and two Falid dragoons keep watch.

I also made a version of this with some text describing the tank, which you can see here: [link]

Edit: Critique notes from class:
- Reconsider light source direction in respect to background
- Consider using textures to bring the digital more inline with traditional, or painting over the traditional to bring it in line with the digital.
- Consider adding more grime/wear to the tank, and fading the logo/emblem

When pertaining to the class' comments, maybe it was a brand new spanking tank :P Lol but that makes it stand out a lot. I think some textures on the tank would enhance it. Possibly some metallic streaks/brushes.

Mhmm, I may go back in and scuff it up a bit, as it's definitely not fresh off the assembly line (how else did it get in that field? :3)

Just in the front shallow "nose" :)
A few other older tanks have that style as well, so no direct reference to it here.

True, thinking about it a polish pre-ward project also had very similar lines(like other christie-inspired tanks).

The Khajit had no problem dealing with dragons in their native home of Elsewyr.

Nice drawing!
