Edit; Some thoughts in hindsight after this morning's critique
- I should have looked up reference of other works like magazines (esp art mags) for figuring out a good way to handle the layout
- These very much fell into some traps I didn't realize I made for myself; didn't read between the lines of my own narrative and instead put literal interpretations of scenes from it
- Need to incorporate more action and consequence into my work; too much "establishing shot" type pieces and not enough conflict
- Should have considered having each of the images on this page as their own page with accompanying text; as panels they de-emphasize each other since they all are forced to occupy one page - this doesn't work as well because the "sequence" on this page spans the timeframe of the entire story. They are too disjointed in time and space, all seperate scenes (even though from same story), and probably work better as stand alone pieces
- Try to avoid doing all the work the night/morning before class.
