Rossentian Legionnaire

A member of the Rossentian Foreign Legion serving abroad as part of the expeditionary force now supplementing the Caluran Municipal Army. The burnt orange strips of dyed canvas indicate his integration into the CCMA. This Legionnaire is using a Calur-pattern C500M1 rifle - an imported design from Frontrange - outfitted with a confiscated Baloran 3x sight.

The Empire of the Rossent - in danger of fading out of existence - was a major supporter of Calur's independence, seeking mainly to establish close ties with a fledgling nation on the New World, in a desperate move to keep itself in a position of power. As part of this support, the Rossentian Foreign Legion stationed in Calur now operates as part of the Calur Confederate Municipal Army.

Though Calur is technically independent, the RFL has a hefty stake in Confederate bureaucracy.

Those with keen eyes and memory might spy the resemblance of this uniform to something else; it's intentional, and part of my work building towards my latest project with this fictional 'verse.
