Really liking this new paint-sketch approach. It's not as immediately refined, but I can pump out concepts and sketches MUCH faster and it's a very fluid process - I very much like where this is going and I'm probably going to stick with it and see what I can do.
One of the older Koshyan tank designs, still used at present (albeit somewhat modernized) and the most numerous tank in the Koshyan Motor Cavalry.
Technically classified as a light tank by modern standards, they are very quick and nimble, fitting into the Koshyan armored warfare tactics as flankers. These agile tanks would outflank enemy armor and run distraction, screening for the larger tank hunters and towed anti-tank guns. They are also commonly used to allow rapid transport of squads of infantry on the rear of the tank, further facilitating high mobility of Koshyan armed forces.
The basic frame does not rely on complex electronics, although most of the tanks fielded now are fitted with at least night time optics and an upgraded main gun. The original version used an 81mm cannon, later versions swapped this for a 137mm snub barrel KB-110, which was able to fire the same ATGMs as the KB-109 on the Type 117. This was coupled with three NG-11 Sextant machine guns; one coaxially mounted in the turret, another in front of the driver, and the last on the rear of the turret for exterior passenger use.
